Learning More About HTML Coding to Make Your Work Easier….

Ok, so where did I leave off? Oh, that is right making link code with some basic HTML.  That one was always hard for me to remember so I would have to look it up.  Image Codes are almost the same just a bit more involved.

Image HTML Code

The above code will render the image below.  You want to make sure you uploaded the image to WordPress which will give you that code (whether you want to use one in your sidebar or say your email signature). Now the thing is this image does not take you anywhere, it is just the image itself. See below how to link to it.

Image and Link

Just for the purpose of this post I am going to link it to this post. So we need to take our link that goes to where we want it to go and add in the image code. See below:

 <a href=”http://diyblogtech.com/more-basic-html”><img src=”https://beckywillis.com/wp-content/uploads/2017/01/learn-to-blog-in-post.jpg” alt=”learn html”></a>

(notice that the original <a has to be closed at the end of this code.)

Please remember you want to have your own domain name for your site. (http://www.yoursite.com) or for an image, it would be. (http://www.yoursite.com/wp-content/uploads/2017/01/learn-to-blog-in-post.jpg)
